My book “LADIES OF THE LORES” was released in the World Book Fair, New Delhi.

Prabir was born in a remote coastal village, Arikhia, Odisha. He is the sixth child of his parents’ seven children. He was part of a vast joint family of his grandfather, the Jamindar (landlord) of that area. His parents moved to Cuttack City in the late 1950s for his father’s construction business. Prabir graduated from Secondary Board High School in 1967.

In high school, he developed a love for reading and watching movies in Odia (his mother tongue), Bengali, Hindi, and English.

I am truly honoured to be invited as a Guest Speaker at the Odisha Rotary Annual Function 2025.
As an author and lyricist, it was a privilege to share my thoughts on literature, creativity, and the power of words in shaping society.

Thank you to the Rotary team for the warm welcome and for recognising the role of art, culture, and literature in community development.
Looking forward to many more moments of learning, sharing, and inspiring together.

At Professor Shantanu Kumar Acharya Foundation Trust, I, Prabir Dash — author, writer, and lyricist, had the privilege of participating in the Second Anniversary Convocation Ceremony 2025 (Eleventh Session) held on 2nd November 2025 at Rabindra Mandap, Bhubaneswar .

It was a moment of immense pride to honour two eminent literary personalities of Odisha , presenting each of them with a ₹50,000/- cheque in recognition of their exceptional contribution to Odia literature and cultural enrichment.

Celebrating such inspiring talent strengthens our mission of promoting literary excellence and carrying forward the rich legacy of Professor Shantanu Kumar Acharya.
✨ A heartfelt salute to the writers who continue to inspire generations with their words.
